Ask Away.
Right now, Tupai's specialty is Math, covering the Malaysian KSSR & KSSM syllabus and the International IGCSE syllabus. More subjects will join the party soon.
Not quite. Tupai isn't a live class, it's a flexible learning tool students can use anytime to practise, revise, and understand math better. But don't worry, all our questions are created and checked by certified teachers, so the quality is as real as it gets.
Yes! Tupai offers a range of trial and past-year exam questions. Students can pick the paper they want to try, get instant marking, and read step-by-step explanations.
Yes! Tupai is currently available in English and Bahasa Melayu. But between us… Tupai can understand and chat in a bunch of other languages too, they're just not officially supported yet.
Yes, you can snap a photo of a question from a textbook, worksheet, or a teacher's printed sheet, and the AI tutor chat will guide them. If the Tupai worksheet has a QR code, scan it and it will bring you straight to a help chat.
In Coach Mode, you get marked and guided question-by-question as you go. In timed mode, all marking is held until the end, so it feels like a real exam.
Yes, you'll need to create a new account for Tupai. The new app is different with new features and a new structure, hence we couldn't just carry old accounts over automatically. As a thank-you for being with us before, you will receive a special promotion code in your email.
Unfortunately, none of that carries over. You and your child will be starting fresh in the new app. We know that's not nothing if your child had built up a streak or level they were proud of. The good news is the new Tupai app gives them a lot more to build toward!
The new Tupai app goes further on everything you liked about the old app, and a new Parent app for parents! You can now snap a photo of any question and get step-by-step help and practise with past-year exam papers in a proper exam-style mode. For parents, you now have an app to see how your child is really doing, with simple progress reports and the ability to assign homework directly. The new app also now covers the whole family: one plan can cover up to five children.
You can reach us through our Contact Us page, or email hello@tupai.ai. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
A few things: step-by-step AI tutoring that explains the concept, not just the answer; snap-a-photo support so your child can ask a question straight from a textbook or worksheet; a Parent Dashboard with plain-language AI progress reports; printable exam-paper worksheets with QR scan-back to step-by-step help; and family plans that cover more than one child on a single account.
Yes — KSSM and Cambridge IGCSE Maths are covered in full. KSSR coverage for curriculum browsing is included too, though past-year KSSR exam papers aren't loaded in yet.

Tupai is built for Primary 4 & 5 KSSR students and secondary school students, including those gearing up for big exams like SPM and IGCSE. Parents and teachers can also use Tupai to keep an eye on learning progress and help students stay on track.
Parents can link their child's account to view their learning dashboard. You'll be able to see which topics they struggle with, how often they practice, and how they're improving over time.
You can link with a QR code or a short pairing code. There's no separate account setup needed on your child's end. If your child is under 13, there's a quick consent step before any of their information is collected.
Yes, one parent app covers every child you link. You get a card per child, choose each child's syllabus, and get notified when a report is ready or homework's been completed.
You can assign practice questions directly, or act on a recommendation from your child's progress report. Once it's done, you'll see a full question-by-question result.
A simple report per child that shows their study time, strengths, and areas to work on, plus up to three chapters we'd recommend focusing on next. The report is bilingual and it can be saved and shared as a PDF, which is handy if you want to show a tutor or teacher what's going on.
Yes. We take privacy and safety seriously. Tupai only collects what's necessary to run the app, and all learning interactions are designed to be safe, child-friendly, and educational.
Absolutely! Teachers can use Tupai for practice, revision, or to spot students who need extra support. We also offer school partnership options for group access.

Yes, every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.
Full leaderboards, browsing the whole curriculum, and your child's session history are always free. On top of that, you currently get 10 AI tutor-chat messages, 1 new practice set, and 1 exam worksheet download every month at no cost.
If you're on Android, you can subscribe or upgrade through the Google Play store inside the app. If you're on iOS, you can subscribe through our web version using a debit or credit card (for now).

Studying alone can be boring. “Tupai & Friends” connects students with a network of peers so they can see they aren't the only one working hard. It keeps them motivated and push through the confusion until they reach mastery.
Both the student and parent apps are available to download on Android through Google Playstore. We're still working on our native iOS app. In the meantime, iOS users can use the full web version instead.
